For nearly 20 years, Osseo has been my home.
Over those years, I’ve watched our community grow, celebrated what makes it special, and become increasingly involved in the decisions that shape our city’s future. That involvement—and my belief that local government should listen first, communicate openly, and serve every resident—is what inspired me to run for Mayor.
Professionally, I’ve spent the past 20 years managing facilities and construction projects across the biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, and banking industries. My career has focused on planning, budgeting, collaboration, problem-solving, and delivering successful projects while balancing the needs of many different stakeholders.
Project management isn’t just about budgets and schedules. It’s about listening to stakeholders, identifying challenges, bringing people together to find solutions, and delivering results. Those are the same principles I would bring to serving as Mayor.
A Record of Serving Osseo
My commitment to Osseo didn’t begin with this campaign.
I’ve actively participated in City Council meetings, speaking during Matters from the Floor and public hearings, and working constructively with council members and city staff on issues affecting our community. This year I have the privilege of serving on the Osseo Planning Commission.
I also believe in bringing forward solutions—not just concerns.
After recognizing opportunities to improve how the City communicates with residents, I developed and presented ideas for a more comprehensive communications strategy. City leadership invited me to collaborate on those efforts, and many of those recommendations were incorporated into the City’s communication improvements. That experience reinforced my belief that the best ideas often come from residents working together with city leadership.
Why I’m Running
I’m running because I believe Osseo deserves leadership that is accessible, transparent, fiscally responsible, and focused on long-term success.
I want residents to know they have a mayor who listens before making decisions, communicates openly, and welcomes different viewpoints. I believe city government works best when decisions are made thoughtfully, based on facts, and with the interests of the entire community in mind.
My Leadership Philosophy
Throughout my career, I’ve learned that successful leadership isn’t about having all the answers.
It’s about asking good questions, listening carefully, bringing people together, and following through on commitments.
Whether managing complex capital projects, coordinating diverse teams, or serving our community, I’ve built trust by being prepared, approachable, collaborative, and accountable.
If elected, I will bring that same approach to serving every resident of Osseo.
